The Summer Internship Program at Wight & Company helps architecture, engineering, and construction students apply the knowledge acquired in school to real projects, building new skills and gaining a broader understanding of the industry. With a high intern-to-full time hire ratio, a summer internship is often the first step in a person’s career with Wight & Company. In fact, a high school student named Kevin Havens was the firm’s first intern in 1973. More than 40 years later, Kevin is now Senior Vice President and Director of Design! Today, an average of 20 students participate in Wight & Company’s internship program each summer.
